Here at BMS Direct 2U LTD we are a small family run independent BMW & MINI specialist which have been trading since 2010. Due to increased workloads we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, reliable & hardworking vehicle technician to join our team. Candidates must have good communication & problem solving skills, be flexible, have a positive attitude and the motivation to complete all work required of them in a busy environment, on a day to day basis.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose vehicles based on observational and mechanical testing as well as information provided by the customer.
• You will be required to carry out general vehicle maintenance and servicing; including mot repairs, clutch/gearbox replacements, brakes, cambelts, timing chains and general workshop activities.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A minimum NVQ 2 or Equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance or proven experience.
• Your own tools
• A minimum of 2 years workshop experience in our industry is necessary (with references)
• Experience in replacing timing belts/chains and clutches is a must.
• A Full UK driving licence

The hours you would be expected to work are between 8.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday, with over-time and weekends regularly available.

Salary will be based on experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
