Data and Analysis Support in the creation and running of reports using Microsoft SQL. Assist with the preparation and quality assurance of regular internal and external data submissions. Contribute to maintaining and improving Navigo’s information systems. Work alongside the Digital, Systems and Insights (DSI) Team to develop and deliver tailored reports and information pack for services within the organisation.

Support the preparation of accurate data for regular meetings. Ensure timely collection and entry of key data into Navigo’s information systems. Monitor Navigo’s performance on national mental health dashboards. Analyse and benchmark local and national data.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of NHS data definitions, standards, guidance and healthcare information. Work with large datasets and complex spreadsheets. Investigate and resolve issues with the Mental Health clinical system and Incident and Accident Reporting system. Assist with the ongoing development and maintenance of Navigo’s information systems.

Review and analyse national dataset submissions. Help maintain a high Data Quality Maturity Index. Extract and analyse information from patient clinical records. Communication The Assistant Data Analyst will form and maintain effective working relationships with individuals internally and externally.

Communicate complex analytical and statistical information in an accessible way. Explain technical information governance and data security issues in straightforward terms. Planning Adhere to all relevant legislation, data standards, and best practices. Effectively manage multiple tasks and competing priorities.

Support the development of data for key projects, business cases, and quality improvement initiatives. Regularly monitor and report on progress. Establish, develop, and maintain accurate and efficient information systems to support the recording and monitoring of data. Policy Work within organisational and professional policies and procedures, using sound judgement and initiative to manage day-to-day tasks, while seeking guidance and support from managers when appropriate to ensure high standards are maintained.

HR and Training Support colleagues within the Digital, Systems and Insights Team. Provide basic guidance and advice on the Mental Health Clinical System and the Incident and Accident Reporting System. Identify training needs related to core information systems and work with the System Trainer to address any gaps. Commit to ongoing professional development.

Engage with professional online communities. Undertake surveys and audits relevant to your role. Provide cross-cover support to ensure service continuity. Effectively prioritise your own workload.

Work collaboratively within the analyst sub-team, offering cross-cover support as needed to maintain high standards and meet shared goals. Information Share and receive information relating to the Mental Health Clinical System. Maintain and continually develop in-depth knowledge of the Mental Health Clinical System and the Incident and Accident Reporting System.
