Overview

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wines, and soft drinks.
• Maintain an organised bar area, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to food safety standards.
• Engage with guests to provide recommendations and answer any questions regarding the drink menu.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and drinks.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Stay updated on industry trends and new drink recipes to enhance the beverage menu.

Requirements

• Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices.
• Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively.
• Basic maths skills for accurate cash handling and drink measurements.
• A passion for providing outstanding customer service and helping guests enjoy their experience.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.25-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
