We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Swimming Teachers to join our team at Earley Swim School. Whether you’re already qualified or looking to take your first steps into teaching, we’re here to support and nurture your career.
You’ll play a vital role in delivering engaging and rewarding swimming lessons for children and adults, ensuring every swimmer feels safe, encouraged, and empowered to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver fun, structured, and engaging swimming lessons tailored to a variety of ages and abilities.
- Motivate and inspire swimmers, assess their progress, and provide constructive, supportive feedback.
- Create a safe, positive, and enjoyable learning environment for all swimmers.
- Plan and adapt lesson content to meet the needs of individuals and groups, ensuring steady progression.
- Build trusting and supportive relationships with swimmers and their families.
Requirements :
- STA Award or Swim England Level 2 Teaching Qualification (or equivalent).
- Level 1 Teachers are warmly encouraged to apply! We offer full support, ongoing training, and partial sponsorship to help you achieve your Level 2 Qualification.
- National Rescue Award for Swimming Teachers and Coaches (NRASTC) or equivalent lifesaving qualification (desirable).Don’t have this yet? We’ll provide access to the course and reimburse 50% of the cost upon successful completion.
- Previous experience teaching group and/or one-to-one swimming lessons (preferred but not essential).
- A positive, patient, and enthusiastic attitude with a genuine passion for helping others.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate and inspire swimmers of all levels.
