Overview:

Quill Construction are a well established Contractor based in Essex with 25 Years trading experience in all areas of construction and commercial building refurbishment

The successful candidate will be based in Rayleigh Essex at our offices and will be responsible for their own projects from start to completion, From pricing the works to delivering the completed project to the client.

You will be working closely with the company directors overseeing projects and contracts to ensure successful delivery to our established client base.

The projects will range from commercial office fit outs, Refurbishments in education and Healthcare sectors and working on the London underground and TFL.

The projects will range from £30,000 - £2,000,000.00

Duties:

• Prepare cost estimates and budgets for construction projects
• Conduct risk assessments to identify potential cost overruns
• Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and supplier quotations
• Monitor project progress and costs throughout the construction phase
• Prepare tender documents, contracts, and valuations
• Provide advice on contractual claims and disputes
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure cost efficiency

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or in a similar role
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
• Excellent numerical and financial management abilities
• Knowledge of construction contracts and regulations
• Proficiency in relevant software applications
• Effective communication and negotiation skills

Pay: £45,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
