Quantity Surveyor

Objectives:

• Prepare the tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities
• Experience within the public sector domestic property sector
• Building relationships with the clients commercial departments
• Prepare and audit subcontractors PQQ’s
• Agree the scope of services required
• Allocate work orders to competent certified companies
• Monitor and control costs throughout the project
• Identify risks surrounding the project and the likelihood of cost variation
• Track any changes to the design or actual work and adjust budget projections
• Liaising with clients and reporting on works progress to all parties
• Inform clients of variations with costings
• Liaise closely with operations in all aspects, including orders and milestones.
• Value completed work and arrange payments to subcontractors
• Analyse progress and write detailed reports
• Liaise between site managers, contract managers, and the client
• Submit client invoices and track future payments including retentions
• Chase late client payments, escalate to Director level if non-compliant
• Report weekly CVR reports on each project to CEO
• Achieve final payment in full on practical completion

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £54,841.80-£75,773.02 per year
