Consultant Geriatrician
Location: Derby
Our client is seeking a Consultant Geriatrician to join their team in Derby. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional to contribute to the development and delivery of high-quality care for older patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert clinical care in Geriatric Medicine, including comprehensive assessments and treatment planning.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and promote integrated care.
- Develop and support frailty pathways, rehabilitation programs, and community care initiatives.
- Supervise and mentor junior medical staff and trainees.
Contribute to research, service development, and clinical governance initiatives.
Requirements
✔ GMC Specialist Registration in Geriatric Medicine (or within 6 months of attaining CCT at the time of interview).
✔ Strong background in Geriatric Medicine, with experience in complex care and frailty management.
✔ Excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
✔ NHS or UK hospital experience preferred.
