As a Graduate Design Engineer, you will be directly involved in designing and refining products using industry-standard CAD software (SolidWorks). You will collaborate with a talented team of designers, production specialists, and suppliers to bring ideas to life, creating technical drawings and models that meet project specifications and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities, being a Graduate Design Engineer will require you to…
- Assist in designing and developing new products using SolidWorks CAD software.
- Produce accurate technical drawings, models, and detailed specifications.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to optimise designs for manufacturing and assembly processes.
- Conduct design calculations, analysis, and feasibility studies to ensure robustness and innovation.
- Support prototype development, testing, and validation of designs.
- Help troubleshoot design-related issues and drive continuous improvements.
- Ensure all designs adhere to relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Maintain thorough documentation of designs, modifications, and test results.
- Prepare engineering change reports to implement product improvements and sample testing.
