The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Beauty Therapy Programme Manager to join our successful team at City College Plymouth. You will be responsible for leading and delivering high-quality teaching within the Beauty Therapy area, catering to students aged 14 and above. This includes both full-time learners and apprentices, as well as those undertaking specialist qualifications.
As the Programme Manager, you will oversee the planning, delivery, assessment and success of our provision, ensuring students gain the skills and knowledge needed to excel in the beauty industry. Your role will involve monitoring the attendance and achievement of students across the area for all types of qualifications. You will work closely with the team to ensure that quality standards are maintained and with students to help them achieve their full potential and progress in their careers.
The ideal candidate will have experience in managing Beauty Therapy courses and the ability to deliver engaging, hands-on lessons in various aspects of the industry. A passion for supporting students’ success, staying up-to-date with industry trends, and maintaining high standards of teaching are essential to this role.
You will also be expected to contribute to the development of the curriculum, engage with industry professionals, and participate in departmental meetings to continually enhance the student experience. A recognised teaching qualification or a willingness to work towards achieving one, along with experience in teaching beauty therapy is essential.
