Our offerings include eco-friendly, reliable, and cost-effective robotic maintenance solutions, tailored specifically for two key areas: ball management and outfield mowing. Our ball management technology is designed for golf facilities and includes an automated ball collector, ball washer, and ball transportation system. Our automated mowing solution primarily serves sports fields, gardens, driving ranges, golf courses, and commercial facilities, though it can be applied to any extensive grassy area.
Senior engineers, on the other hand, must possess excellent knowledge, understanding, and proven experience in mechanical and electrical engineering. Experience in robotics is highly desirable, though a willingness and aptitude to learn are essential. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have experience providing technical support to customers, exhibit attention to detail, be a quick learner, and demonstrate a genuine interest in mechanics, electronics, and robotics. Strong organizational skills, high-level IT knowledge, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, the capacity to handle pressure, problem-solving skills, and physical fitness are also required. The starting salary for senior engineers is negotiable from £30,000.
Key Responsibilities for Engineers:
- Service and maintenance of AMS machinery.
- Proficiency in robotics, pneumatics, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Capability to work independently on the service and maintenance of AMS robotic systems.
- Commitment to personal development using AMS’s development plans.
- Providing technical support to all AMS customers.
- Demonstrating interpersonal skills to manage customer expectations.
- Conducting risk assessments.
- Holding a full, clean UK driving license and the ability to drive nationwide on any given working day.
Qualifications and Experience for Engineers:
Essential:
- No experience required for entry-level engineers, just an aptitude and passion for robotics.
- For senior engineers, a minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable:
- Relevant engineering qualifications.
