This is an exciting opportunity for a talented up and coming chef who is keen to develop.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a chef with a passion for great food and current knowledge of food trends.

This independent Inn is looking for an enthusiastic chef to be a key part a small team, develop menus and help to continue to grow the business, the Inn attracts guests from all over the world.

You might already be a Junior Sous chef or a Chef de Partie looking to take the next step. You could have experience in hotels, restaurants, corporate catering or gastro pubs.

Duties will include.

  • Maintain excellent food and culinary trend knowledge.
  • Develop and write menus, recipes and develop dishes.
  • Working with the finest local suppliers, food costing and stock control.
  • Cooking fresh, seasonal food.
  • Ensuring the maintenance of exemplary kitchen hygiene standards.

Whilst we do expect a certain level of skill training will be provided. Previous kitchen experience is obviously essential. The successful candidate must have a genuine interest in delighting customers, great organisations skills and have friendly attitude and able to contribute to the ‘nice place to work’ atmosphere.

In return, we offer a competitive salary, share of tips (circa £150 a week for full time staff) on top of your base salary and staff discount.

The successful candidate will need a proven track record in a kitchen environment with at least 2 years experience.
