Role Description

Reporting into the New Homes Sales Manager, the Account Director will take on a pivotal role, being entrusted with the comprehensive ownership of the client relationship for several of the UK’s largest Housebuilders. This is a critical position that not only requires meticulous attention to detail but also a deep understanding of the housing market dynamics and the unique needs of our clients.

With a primary focus on formulating and executing effective sales strategies, the Account Director will place significant emphasis on cultivating robust relationships at a senior level within their designated Corporate accounts. This entails not only maintaining existing partnerships but also understanding the evolving needs of these key stakeholders. The Account Director will collaborate closely with the channel manager to strategically identify potential opportunities for growth, meticulously plan actionable initiatives, and effectively unlock avenues that will drive substantial growth for the business.

Account Management

  • Serve as a credible, trusted partner and advisor to your clients, working with them to plan, forecast and implement digital campaigns
  • Maximise the revenue potential of the assigned clients and prospects by achieving agreed revenue and growth targets to ensure the budget expectations are met and exceeded across Zoopla marketplace products
  • Interrogate data, campaign results, market trends and competitor insights to identify opportunities and anticipate challenges
  • Manage renewals of all existing contracts
  • Coordinate the preparation of immaculate client-facing presentations, and deliver them clearly and compellingly
  • Use Zoopla’s market insight, reporting and data tools for planning, reporting and campaign insights
  • Maintaining a thorough understanding of the client, the new build sector, market trends,thus positioning Zoopla as experts in the area
  • Ensure sales related KPIs, as well as revenue targets, are achieved on an ongoing basis
  • Pro-actively collaborate the wider Sales, Operations, and Marketing leadership teams
  • Handles escalations and participates directly in complex sales situations to negotiate and/or resolve disputes and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Conducts sales forecasts/pipeline, territory planning, demand generation, deal strategy development and trend analysis

Strategy

  • Leads strategic and tactical planning for you assigned accounts, working closely with the channel Director
  • Develop and execute short and long-term plans to achieve set growth objectives
  • Ensure working practices are aligned to drive sustainable revenue and growth

Building relationships

  • Develop and maintain senior relationships within the clients, creating new revenue opportunities by understanding each client’s needs
  • Demonstrate inspirational account management, leading by example and driving best practice

Requirements

  • Demonstrable track record in sales, interpersonal and teamwork skills. Highly effective sales talent in a fast paced, sales focused environment
  • Highly effective communication skills, and proven collaboration skills with all levels
  • Experience working across multiple levels of a client’s business, from C-suite, downward
  • Experience working with and understanding Housebuilders and the New Homes industry
  • Experience working with both digital and offline sales in both subscription and transactional models
