We’re seeking an expert in the fast-paced field of programmatic supply-and-demand. This role requires a passion for data analysis, commercial growth and the technical implementation of best-in-market programmatic solutions for our agency and advertiser clients. The right candidate will build excellent relationships internally (Product & Technology, Ad Sales and Ad Ops) and externally (agencies and adtech partners) and possess a wide range of data management and manipulation skills.

Role summary

The purpose of our Programmatic Account Management team is to deliver best-in-class programmatic services to Zoopla’s advertising customers. Reporting into the Head of Ad Sales, you will be responsible for managing and evolving our programmatic technology stack and their associated processes and growing ad yield and revenue. Additional responsibilities:

  • Create, maintain and grow operational and commercial efficiencies in programmatic client servicing and reporting.
  • Work closely with Sales and Technical teams at Zoopla to discover and launch new ways-of-working to maximise client satisfaction in campaign delivery, pricing, quality and effectiveness.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the data available to us to guide audience creation and client bid decisioning.
  • Manage alliances with DSPs, SSPs, networks and agencies including the increasing popularity of de-coupled Zoopla data and inventory.
  • Manage our programmatic configurations and continually evaluate and optimise performance of our adtech partners and clients.
  • Generate in-depth analytics and reporting to identify meaningful business trends that inform our programmatic monetisation practices across our Display products.
  • Onboard new vendors and partners to maximise programmatic revenue in OMP, PMP and PG trading.
  • Troubleshoot issues relating to programmatic partners or products.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the wider programmatic eco-system with industry event attendance and appearances.
  • Work closely with Ad Sales and Marketing to promote new ways of working, industry leading practices and technology adoption where required.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to select and manage programmatic vendors and build genuine partnerships.
  • The ability to ideate, create and deliver a simple commercial vision from potentially complex programmatic concepts.
  • Experience managing a team and driving high-performance behaviours and engagement.
  • Extremely strong technical skills and understanding in the field of programmatic advertising.
  • Demonstrate flexibility, empathy and excellent prioritisation skills.
  • Demonstrate strong attention-to-detail in workflow processes and quality standards.
  • Proven track record of relationship development and the ability to influence both internal and external behaviours for optimum results.

Preferred experience

  • Extensive experience working in a programmatic and/or data function at a large media agency or publisher.
