We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our Lisbon team. This role involves supporting all payroll and benefits administrative processes, ensuring a positive employee experience and focusing on service delivery. The successful candidate will be part of a team that values teamwork and client service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all administrative tasks to ensure the payroll process according with the local rules and labour regulations.

  • Manage and validate all data inputs for payroll purposes.

  • Ensure accurate calculation of wages, deductions, overtime and severances.

  • Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping.

  • Review and audit payroll data for accuracy.

  • Support the maintenance of payroll records and ensure reports in compliance with legal requirements.

  • Comply with the mandatory local payroll and legal reporting

  • Manage all administrative tasks related to employee benefit programs, such as life, health insurance, retirement plans.

  • Assist employees with benefit enrolments, changes, and queries.

  • Liaise with insurance providers to resolve issues and maintain compliance.

  • Prepare reports for audits and ensure proper documentation

  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits.

  • Provide guidance on compensation, deductions, and benefits options

Requirements

Degree in Human Resources or similar.

Experience in Payroll

Fluent in English and French (mandatory).

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially strong knowledge of Excel.

Have good understanding of employment and payroll laws and regulations.

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Strong skills to work under pression and with short deadlines.

Strong attention to detail and accurancy in data entry.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills

Focus in the solution and in client delivery.
