OutThere RPO are excited to partner with a market leading storage solutions company, seeking a motivated Research & Development Technician to join their team based in Fareham.

What will I be doing as a R &D Technician?

In this engaging role, you will contribute to the development of cutting-edge products that will shape the future of our industry. Your hands-on technical capabilities and innovative mindset will allow you to make a real impact from day one!

On the job training will be provided for all necessary equipment including air-powered tools and welder.

Key responsibilities:

• Setting up test areas for experiments and testing
• Maintaining organisation and upkeep of equipment and tools in the workshop
• Practical assembly of products (and prototypes)
• Recommissioning of units for testing
• Preparing units for testing
• Supporting R&D team with product development

Requirements

• Practical Apprenticeship/Educational Qualification in Engineering (desirable)
• Demonstrable experience in a research and development environment (desirable)
• A willingness to learn and continuously develop knowledge
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate ideas clearly
• A creative approach to problem-solving, with a passion for exploring new ideas and methodologies
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects and timelines effectively
