General Catering Assistant - Heathrow Immigration Removal Centre

Salary : £26,098.42

40 hours per week

You must be eligible for CTC clearance. Hold a valid British passport or EU passport with Share Code, have no criminal convictions, and have lived in the UK for the past three years with no extended trips overseas.

Job objectives and responsibilities

• Work as part of a dedicated team to assist in the smooth running of the Catering department

Main duties

• Organise and manage personally allocated area of work related to the smooth running of the Kitchen so that the work is completed effectively and efficiently.
• When required assist with the storage of deliveries in the appropriate storage areas.
• Ensure all foodstuffs are stored and labelled appropriately
• Assist when required with any preparation of buffets
• Assist with food preparation and service at meal times.
• General cleaning duties in line with the cleaning schedule’s.
• Any other reasonable duties requested by the Catering Manager or Duty Chef.
