As a Senior Finance Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in providing financial insight and driving strategic decision-making across the organisation. You will act as a key business partner, collaborating with stakeholders across departments to deliver actionable insights that enhance performance and align with organisational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making.
• Develop and maintain robust financial models to evaluate business performance and forecast future outcomes.
• Partner with budget holders and senior leaders to provide expert financial advice, ensuring alignment with financial objectives.
• Monitor financial performance, identify trends, and recommend actionable strategies for improvement.
• Lead on the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Support the development and implementation of cost-saving initiatives and efficiency programs.
• Provide financial input into project evaluations, business cases, and policy reviews.
• Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, ensuring financial risks are identified and mitigated effectively.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and reporting standards.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Qualified Accountant ( CA / CIMA / ACCA )
• Proven experience in a finance role with a strong focus on analysis and business partnering.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial audiences.
• Advanced proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Excel.
• A strong understanding of public sector financial processes is highly desirable.
