Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and passionate Florist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong appreciation for flowers and design, with the ability to create stunning floral arrangements for various occasions. This role requires excellent communication skills, organisational abilities, and a knack for selling floral products.

There may be the opportunity for more hours for the right candidate, this will be discussed at interview

Responsibilities

• Design and create floral arrangements for events, weddings, and everyday occasions.
• Assist customers in selecting flowers and arrangements that suit their needs.
• Maintain the shop’s appearance by ensuring displays are attractive and well-stocked.
• Manage inventory of flowers and supplies, ensuring freshness and quality.
• Communicate effectively with customers to understand their preferences and provide excellent service.
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Promote special offers and seasonal products to enhance sales.
• Organise deliveries of floral arrangements as required.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Florist or in a similar role is preferred but training will be provided.
• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers, both verbally and in writing.
• Experience in selling products or services is an advantage.
• A background in gardening or horticulture is beneficial but not mandatory

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £11.50-£12.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 8 per week
