Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and creative Florist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for design and a love for flowers and plants. As a Florist, you will be responsible for creating beautiful floral arrangements for various occasions, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining the overall aesthetic of the shop. This role requires strong organisational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs.

Duties

• Design and create floral arrangements for events, weddings, and everyday occasions.
• Maintain the shop’s inventory of flowers, plants, and supplies.
• Assist customers in selecting flowers and arrangements that meet their needs.
• Provide expert advice on flower care and maintenance.
• Ensure that the shop is clean, organised, and visually appealing at all times.
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Stay updated on current floral trends and techniques.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Florist or in a similar role is needed
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Spanish or other languages is an advantage.
• A passion for gardening and an understanding of different flower types and their care requirements.
• Ability to sell products effectively while providing outstanding customer service.
• A creative mindset with an eye for detail in design work.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.44-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
