Job Summary:
Our client seeking a highly skilled and experienced Acute Medicine Consultant to join their dynamic and fast-paced team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality acute medical care, working within a multidisciplinary team, and contributing to service development and education.

Essential Requirements:

• Evidence of entry on the GMC Specialist Register or within six months of attaining CCT in Acute Medicine at the time of interview.
• Extensive expertise in Acute and General Medicine , including the management of acutely unwell patients.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care within a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert clinical care in acute and emergency medical settings.
• Lead and support the Acute Medical Unit (AMU), Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC), and Rapid Assessment Units.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues in Emergency Medicine, Critical Care, and General Medicine to optimize patient outcomes.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to patient-centered decision-making.
• Engage in teaching, training, and supervision of junior doctors and medical students.
• Contribute to clinical governance, service development, and quality improvement initiatives.

Desirable Attributes:

• Experience in Ultrasound-Guided Procedures, Medical Education, or Subspecialty Interests within Acute Medicine.
• Leadership experience in service development or quality improvement projects.
• Interest in research, clinical trials, or academic medicine.
