We are seeking a skilled and organised Social Media Coordinator to manage the online presence of our independent venues and pubs in Bristol and beyond. This role will involve creating and delivering engaging content across multiple platforms, working closely with our marketing team to support campaigns, event launches, and brand initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of social media strategy, a keen eye for detail, and a good awareness of Bristol’s diverse music and cultural landscape.
- Manage all social media platforms across our businesses, ensuring consistent and engaging content that aligns with our brand guidelines.
- Work closely with the head of department, bookings coordinator and content creator on wider marketing campaigns and event launches.
- Plan and coordinate campaigns for product/event/site launches, and any other campaigns required by the head of department.
- Ideate and execute organic and paid online advertising campaigns using Meta Business Suite, Snap inc., TikTok and more).
- Maintain an engaging, varied planner of scheduled posts across all businesses.
- Collaborate with the content creator(s) and head of department to create and schedule impactful content, ensuring it is relevant to each business.
- Track and report social media metrics and analytics to continuously refine strategies.
- Maintain the tone of voice across various platforms, including social media, email newsletters, physical assets, and marketing materials.
- Work with cross-functional teams, including marketing, content, and events, to align social media strategies with broader marketing initiatives.
- Stay on top of social media trends, leveraging these insights to keep content fresh and relevant.
- Research and document changes within the industry.
- Undertake SWOT analysis of our current and any new businesses, as well as updating these when necessary.
- Create in-depth research documents on competition businesses, going into detail on how they may affect our trade, as well as what we can do to negate this.
- Build and manage relationships with influencers and external partners to drive engagement and brand visibility.
- Reply and engage with messages, comments etc. forwarding to the relevant colleague where appropriate.
- Occasionally share responsibilities with the events coordinator such as postering, flyering and event repping.
- Have an understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly basic Photoshop and Premier skills.
- Have a reasonable understanding of Bristol’s broad and diverse music culture, enabling you to truly connect with the target audience of our venues.
This is a hybrid role allowing the successful candidate to work from our head office located in Bristol city centre as well as working from home. There will be instances where the successful candidate will need to work from the office five days a week, including but not limited to launching new campaigns.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.50-£14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
