Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled chef to join our team at our country Inn and restaurant. As a sous, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking flavoursome meals with precision and efficiency, whilst taking the lead in service.
Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards

Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner

Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures

Collaborate with the owners to ensure smooth operations

Take the lead on meal preparation to a very high standard

Contribute to a clean and organised kitchen

Adhere to all restaurant policies and procedures
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices
-High end experience in meal preparation and food presentation

Proficient in various cooking techniques

Ability to work well under pressure

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge of kitchen equipment and utensils
-
Culinary degree or relevant experience is preferred

There is a supplementary 12.5% service added to all food and beverage which is evenly distributed amongst staff. This equates to approx. £3,000 each staff member.

Pay: £32,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
