Job Title: Receptionist
Location: Ashridge House, Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, HP4 1NS
Reports to: Front of House Manager
Shifts: 5/7 days Monday-Sunday, includes regular weekend shifts, timings can be between 7am and 9:30pm

Contract type: 6 Month Fixed Term

The Opportunity

We are looking for an individual who is driven to provide a personalised experience to every guest, every time. This is a fantastic opportunity to become an ambassador of Ashridge House, as our Reception Team are the first point of contact that our guests have. If you are passionate about providing amazing customer service and creating lasting relationships with our guests, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests whenever you meet them across the site and check in on their stay personally
  • Proactively understand our guests needs/plans whilst they stay with us and advise them appropriately
  • Ensure entrance and main halls are always spotless and ready to receive guests
  • Check in/out guests
  • Assisting guests with luggage, if needed
  • Direct guests across our site using clear and concise language
  • Answering phone calls and emails in a professional and timely manner
  • Accepting deliveries/post and distributing as needed
  • Communicate effectively across all departments to ensure the highest level of service is delivered
  • Take ownership of any guest concerns or feedback and ensure you deliver a positive resolution
