About Us: Rain Dogs is an independent cocktail bar in the heart of East London. We are a small venue which specialises in crafting everything from scratch. As many ingredients as possible are made by us and we have a real flair for creativity. Headed by bartenders from some of the best cocktail bars this country has to offer, you will be sure of world class training and development. Having just released our Vernal Equinox menu and soon to be expanding into a food offering this May, we are looking to expand our small, close-nit team alongside.
Position Overview: As a Bartender at Rain Dogs, you will play a pivotal role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for our customers. You will be responsible for serving a range of high quality cocktails, beers and wine, as well as taking orders and maintaining the space. Prior experience in these areas is essential. We value a friendly and personable demeanour, as you will be an integral part of our small team and interact directly with our customers. We are looking for full time candidates who are prepared to be flexible and fully committed to driving Rain Dogs’ success.
Responsibilities:
- Serve beverages, including beer, wine and cocktails, to guests in a prompt and friendly manner.
- Maintain a clean and organised bar area, ensuring that all glassware and supplies are readily available.
- Interact with customers, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Mix and prepare cocktails (training provided).
- Handle payments securely and accurately.
- Monitor and enforce responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the bar.
- Restock supplies and assist with inventory management.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines and sanitation standards.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is essential.
- Knowledge of beer, wine, spirits and cocktails.
- A good knowledge of cocktail preparation skills are desirable but not essential for the right candidate
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
- Must be a team player and work well with others.

Equal and fair split of our 12.5% service charge
Contracted 40 hours (must be available for late finishes and weekend working)
