We are looking for an experienced ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT, (Bookkeeper/Credit Controller), to join our friendly team on a temp - perm basis. This is a friendly and mostly informal environment, offering flexibility to work from home in a fulfilling position.
’ MUST HAVE’ you will need:
- To be accurate and diligent in your work and flexible in your duties as the role is in a small hard working team.
- To be experienced using XERO and have excellent IT skills especially in Excel and the ability to pick up new systems quickly.
- Credit control experience.
- To prioritise & manage day to day activities.
- To administrate the posting of invoices and reconciliation of payments. (Both retail and supplier). Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- To be self-motivated with excellent organisational skills.
- To collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
- To be Part Qualified / Qualified to AAT level.
- To understand all principles of bookkeeping & finance, assisting most accounts processes and have good practical experience.
- To maintain organized financial records and documentation, demonstrating strong organizational skills
’ GOOD TO HAVE’ you will need:
- To have knowledge of Linnworks and Magento.
- Experience with multi-currency accounting. Handling foreign currency payments and receipts. Billing and bank reconciliation of GBP, USD & EUR accounts.
- To be CIMA/ACCA qualified.
This role will allow you to work part time & from home. Occasionally, you will need to attend team meetings at a location either in London or St Neots Cambridgeshire. ( Meeting locations, dates & times are always discussed with you before booking).
You will work between 2-3 days a week, with possible development should you wish. We will be flexible to work around the circumstances of the successful applicant and this may grow in time. * PLEASE state your preference, (should you have a preference), in your application *
