As Finance Manager at Eco Funding For Homes Ltd, you will be reporting directly into the company Directors. This is a varied, challenging and exciting position which holds the responsibility of overseeing the complete end-to-end function of finance, from planning and analysis, to making improvements to processes, procedures and controls. The ideal candidate would have experience in a similar Finance role and have meticulous attention to detail. Responsibilities

  • Completing all aspects of finance, i.e. Payroll , Accounts Receivables (Sales Ledger), Accounts Payable (Purchase Ledger), Procurement (Purchasing), Variances/Debt
  • Daily inputting and maintenance of Sage Accounts and Sage Payroll
  • Weekly Bank Reconciliations to ensure the ledgers are clean, tidy and correct
  • Monitor, interpret and predict cash flows (Budgeting and forecasting)
  • Lead the weekly analysis of income & expenditure and present findings to Director level
  • Complete quarterly VAT returns and other HMRC processes
  • Use PLEO to log, monitor and pay staff expenses (when needed) in a timely manner
  • Analyse and identify changes proactively
  • Conduct reviews and evaluations for company cost-reduction opportunities
  • Produce accurate financial reports to specific deadlines
  • Manage budgets
  • Research and report on factors that may influence the company’s performance
  • Develop financial management strategies to reduce risk
  • Provide recommendations to maximise profits
  • Onboard new starters to the business and order new work equipment
  • Book hotels for staff members, clients and events
  • Supervise Accounts Assistants

  • Strong commercia acumen and analytical capabilities
  • Technical ability in both Finance and IT
  • Attention to detail, risk assessment and problem solving
  • An understanding of how financial management contributes to corporate structure, strategy and objectives
  • Negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Other Requirements

  • Financial qualification would be desirable
  • Experience dealing with Subcontractors and other Utility companies would be advantageous
  • Willingness to learn and flexibility to implement new policies and processes is essential given the dynamics of the business and growth

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
