ABOUT THE ROLE:

In this 10-month placement as a UX Intern, you will support the UX team to create a great experience for our customers. You will create lo-fi and hi-fi prototypes, run and participate in UX workshops and co-design sessions, and facilitate user research sessions with our users. You will work across both Design and Research, flexing your qualitative and quantitative research skills and then being able to apply those to end design that creates best in class experiences for our customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Create, define and guide design decisions

• Create assets such as prototypes and hi-fidelity designs to create amazing customer experiences

• Champion Accessibility and Inclusive Design

• Work with the UX team to execute user-centred research methods:

  • Contextual inquiry and ethnographic field studies

  • One-on-one interviews

  • Focus groups

  • Usability testing and concept testing

  • Competitive assessment

  • Diary studies

• Deliver both in-house and 3rd party research workshops including set up, recruitment, moderation, data collection, analysis and debrief

Salary: £27,300

Interview dates: April-May 2025

Placement dates: Monday 8th September 2025 to Friday 3rd July 2026

Requirements

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

To apply for this role, you will need:

• To be eligible to work in the UK

• To be over 18 years old as of 1st September 2025

• To be a 2nd year student in a full-time undergraduate degree with an industry placement year, in a subject relevant to this role

• To have achieved a minimum of 104 UCAS points at A-level (grades BCC) or an equivalent (e.g., BTEC DMM) qualification

• Maths and English GCSE (or equivalent) grades A* to C (new grades 9 to 4)
