Working Hours: 40 hour work week worked Monday to Friday
Salary: £45,000-£55,000 dependent on experience!
Tersus, part of the Marlowe Environmental Services Group, is looking for an experienced Senior Principal Designer/CDM Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring compliance with the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 for our clients, helping to drive safety and best practices across a range of projects.
Requirements
What will you be doing?
- Liaising with Clients, Designers, and Contractors as required for each scheme
- Attending design reviews and design team meetings
- Advising Clients, Designers, and Contractors on their duties under CDM 2015 regulations
- Participating in pre-start and progress meetings
- Supporting and mentor junior/trainee CDM Consultants
- Overseeing Quality Management System processes, including corrective actions, purchasing, training, and production of QMS-related information
- Undertaking additional duties in line with job responsibilities as required
What experience do you need?
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate (or working towards a NEBOSH Diploma)
- In-depth knowledge of CDM 2015 Regulations and associated Approved Code of Practice
- Previous experience in CDM Coordination within a consultancy environment
- Registered CDMC Membership of the Association for Project Safety (RMaPS)
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in IT and relevant software
Desirable:
- Technician Membership of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (TechIOSH).
