Summary
We are seeking to recruit an experienced Projects Manager within the Passive Fire Division to join our dynamic management team and handle our portfolio of projects. This is a varied role and anyone interested in applying must have extensive knowledge, qualifications and experience in both fire compartmentation (firestopping) and fire doors. The role will involve managing projects from the initial enquiry stage, preparation of a pricing proposal and once successfully awarded, delivery of each project from start to finish.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed quotations based on the scope of works.
- Provide expert advice on compliant solutions.
- Maintain regular client communication to secure new work and strengthen relationships.
- Conduct occasional site visits and attend review meetings with clients.
- Plan, co-ordinate and execute projects from inception to completion.
- Develop project schedules and allocate resources effectively.
- Oversee the successful delivery of projects, ensuring quality and compliance.
- Supervise operatives and subcontractors, ensuring productivity, safety, professionalism and regulatory compliance.
- Monitor health and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Track project costs to ensure budget adherence.
- Ensure the successful completion of projects, meeting client expectations and quality standards.
- Finalise projects by compiling supporting documentation and necessary certification.
- Stay updated on industry standards and best practices related to fire safety.
Requirements
- Minimum level of qualifications IFE Passive Fire Protection Level 2
- Proven experience in firestopping NVQ Level 2 (essential) and fire doors. Knowledge of the BM Trada and LPCB accredited schemes or industry equivalent.
- Competency in Excel and industry recognised digital applications. Eg. Onetrace, Bolster.
- IOSH or NEEBOSH preferable.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members and clients.
- Work to deadlines and the ability to run multiple projects at the same time.

Pay: £50,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
