Job Title: Senior Care Assistant
Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our team and oversee the provision of exceptional care to our senior residents. The ideal candidate will have a profound commitment to supporting the elderly and ensuring their well-being. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will lead a team in delivering high-quality care services to our residents.
Responsibilities:

Supervise and support residents with daily activities including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management

Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals

Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff members to ensure holistic care

Provide leadership and guidance to junior care assistants

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of residents’ health status and progress

Foster a warm and supportive environment for residents, promoting their independence and dignity
Skills:
-
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with seniors, families, and colleagues
-
Proficiency in supervising and coordinating care activities within a senior care setting
-
Strong understanding of senior care principles, including developing care plans and administering medication
-
Ability to drive initiatives for continuous improvement in care services

Demonstrated leadership qualities to guide a team of care assistants

Basic IT skills for maintaining digital records in compliance with regulations
