Job Title: Senior Care Assistant

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our team and oversee the provision of exceptional care to our senior residents. The ideal candidate will have a profound commitment to supporting the elderly and ensuring their well-being. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will lead a team in delivering high-quality care services to our residents.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support residents with daily activities including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management

  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals

  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff members to ensure holistic care

  • Provide leadership and guidance to junior care assistants

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of residents’ health status and progress

  • Foster a warm and supportive environment for residents, promoting their independence and dignity

Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with seniors, families, and colleagues

  • Proficiency in supervising and coordinating care activities within a senior care setting

  • Strong understanding of senior care principles, including developing care plans and administering medication

  • Ability to drive initiatives for continuous improvement in care services

  • Demonstrated leadership qualities to guide a team of care assistants

  • Basic IT skills for maintaining digital records in compliance with regulations
