CNC Recruitment is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Planning Administrator to join our client in Wincanton - a well-respected food production business in the Southwest region. This is an office-based role requiring strong administrative and planning skills to support order processing, inventory management, and customer service functions.

Location : Wincanton

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 (with occasional out-of-hours availability)

Salary : £25,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately enter emailed and telephone orders into the company’s system.

Communicate orders effectively to relevant teams within the business.

Record third-party supplier dispatch information in a timely manner.

Contact customers for sales orders and resolve service-related inquiries.

Maintain customer records, including new customers, shipping locations, and sales pricing in the system.

Provide sales support information to the Commercial team.

Oversee packing planning, ensuring smooth operations

Coordinating with the Procurement Director on products purchase requirements.

Aligning weekly packing priorities with the production team.

Managing products stock levels to prevent surplus or shortfalls.

Provide planning support to the Production Planner during holidays.

Requirements

• A team player with excellent communication skills.
• Strong computer literacy and the ability to work efficiently within a business system (BC experience is a plus!).
• An analytical mindset with great attention to detail.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
• Ability to multi-task and work effectively within a fast-paced supply chain/planning environment.
