CNC Recruitment are looking for a skilled and reliable Warehouse Operative with a valid Telescopic Forklift license to join our client in Yeovil – a well-respected aerospace engineering company. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience operating telescopic forklifts and performing general yard duties. This role involves handling stock movement, maintaining an organised and safe yard, and supporting general site operations.
Woking hours: Monday to Thursday 8.00am – 5.30pm and Friday 8.00am to 12.30pm
Job Type: Temp to Perm (Permanent after 16 weeks)
Salary: £12.50 per hour, rising to £13.50 after successful probation, weekly pay

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a telescopic forklift safely to transport materials and equipment.
• Load and unload deliveries efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and hazard-free yard.
• Assist with general yard maintenance and upkeep.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Organise and manage stock movement within the yard.
• Support colleagues with operational tasks as required.

Requirements

• Valid Telescopic Forklift License (in-date).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety best practices.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Physically fit and capable of handling manual tasks.
• A positive attitude and willingness to take on various tasks.

Desirable:

• Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
