Job Summary:

Our client is a innovative Fitness & Wellness brand seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join the leadership team. The COO will work closely with the CEO and CFO to oversee the operational priorities of the brand, ensuring the successful launch and growth of our flagship studio in Central London. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operational management, marketing, business development, and franchise expansion, with a passion for the fitness and wellness industry.

Key Responsibilities:

1.⁠ ⁠Operational Leadership

  • Collaborate with the CEO and CFO to set strategic operational priorities and ensure alignment with overall business goals.

  • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all business functions.

2.⁠ ⁠Marketing and Brand Development:

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and drive customer engagement.

  • Lead initiatives to establish the brand as a thought leader in the fitness and wellness space.

3.⁠ ⁠Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue opportunities for corporate partnerships and individual memberships.

  • Drive franchise expansion efforts, including market research, franchisee recruitment, and support.

4.⁠ ⁠Strategic Relationships:

  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors, partners, and community organizations.

  • Foster collaborations that enhance the brand’s offerings and market presence.

5.⁠ ⁠Team Building and Management:

  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing management team to support the growth and success of the business.

  • Cultivate a positive and inclusive company culture that reflects the brand’s values.

6.⁠ ⁠Financial Oversight:

  • Collaborate with the CFO to develop and manage budgets, financial forecasts, and performance metrics.

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • ⁠ ⁠Proven experience as a COO or in a senior operational role, preferably in the fitness, wellness, or hospitality industry.
  • ⁠ ⁠Strong understanding of marketing, business development, and franchise operations.
  • ⁠ ⁠Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
  • ⁠ ⁠Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • ⁠ ⁠Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • ⁠ ⁠Passion for fitness and wellness is a must.
