Role: Optimus Facilities are currently recruiting Mechanical Site Manager due to new contracts acquired. We require the correct person who will be responsible for managing mechanical installations on your own. The suitable candidate will be able to deliver all types of Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning, carry out instructions from the senior management team and work within Health & Safety guidelines. Candidates should possess- CSCS card, a full UK driving licence, have a good background in Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning and maintain good working relationship with colleagues and customers.

Location: North west

Reports To: Contracts Manager

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years industry experience post training/qualification
  • Building Services Engineering Degree would be beneficial
  • An HNC in Building Services Engineering would be preferable but no essential
  • Must be computer literate as appropriate to the role - Word, Excel, Outlook, Program software, Dropbox

Attributes / Key Skills:

  • Good working knowledge of mechanical installations including methods and service procedures
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering successful £1million+ projects
  • Project planning, including preparation of contract installation programmes, RAMs and disseminating this information to site teams.
  • Develop positive working relationships with client and promote customer retention
  • Carry out project handovers and preparation of handover documentation.
  • To act in a professional manner and treat all persons and companies with whom they interact with decency
  • Ability to work independently and manage Project Team
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to identify problems and provide resolutions.
  • Full driving licence as you will need to travel to Client sites as and when required.
  • Ensuring works are completed in line with the health and safety policy
  • Managing engineers and sub-contractors
  • Ensure project documents are complete, current, and appropriately communicated to relevant stakeholders and managed in-line with the company quality policy.
  • Regular internal reviews of projects
  • Cross reference correspondence and documents
  • Download Marked-Up Drawings from external consultants or design team members
  • Provide the design team with in date current marked up drawings for review
  • Assist Senior Management as required
  • Project aftercare assistance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £45,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
