Global Workplace Operations (GWO) is within the RE organization. It is accountable for strategy development and delivering Workplace Experience, Facilities Management, Workplace Services, and RE Sustainability across Ericsson’s global portfolio. GWO ensures RE solutions are customized to reflect business and user profiles at 350 locations worldwide. GWO uses an outsourced IFM model to deliver solutions, allowing the in-house team to focus more on stakeholder engagement.

This role leads a new unit and team; GWO owns and drives the RE sub-strategies for Services and Sustainability and elevates, inspires and manages the relationships with the IFM partners who deliver services and experience across the Global portfolio. It reports to the Head of Global Workplace Operations and is a member of the GWO leadership team.

What you will do:

  • Own, manage, and lead the development of RE sub-strategies in GWO and drive agreed-upon transformation through the unit. Key transformation areas are Workplace Experience (services and amenities, health and wellbeing, and social and community engagement) and digitalization of user services.
  • Lead engagement and relationship management with Ericsson’s IFM partners via Geographic leads and Performance analysts.
  • Develop and roll out Global best practices to harmonize working methods, leverage the relationship with our 2 IFM Partners, and lead supplier governance and the RFS cycle for GWO.
  • Provide simplified contract mechanism interpretation on a scheduled and ad hoc basis to RE GWO Geos Teams. Build the partnership elements and enhance collaboration with the IFM Partner.
  • Drive and ensure the governance structure in the IFM contracts is followed and aligned to RE GWO strategy and goals.
  • Support the REPO RE Finance Admin Team sharing best practises and collaboration.
  • Collaborate, network, and share knowledge with GFGO BC Sourcing & Real Estate, streamlining all Finance reporting and aligning global IFM budget-setting processes and forecasts.
  • Ensure the development of the RE Sustainability strategy to meet Ericsson’s Net Zero in its own operations target by 2030 and other environmental objectives. Meet Group targets, ensure accurate reporting and drive initiatives to reduce the RE environmental footprint (e.g. waste and water reduction).
  • Lead a unit consisting of 4 Geographic IFM Relationship leads, a Sustainability lead, 2 Performance analysts and Transformation Delivery Project Manager.
  • The successful candidate will work closely with Real Estate Portfolio and Project Management, Workplace Community and innovation, and Strategy and transformation units.

About this opportunity:

Ericsson is seeking a dedicated individual for the role of Workplace Management. The successful candidate will be tasked with ensuring the delivery of Workplace Experience and FM services across Ericsson’s premises in defined market areas excluding Functional or Project Offices. This role requires active collaboration with various Ericsson units, partners, suppliers, and customers, to secure an engaging physical/digital workplace environment that enhances wellbeing, productivity, and brand experience. As part of this role, the candidate will also drive RE strategies, execute on financial control, meet sustainability targets, and implement RE compliance and security measures.

  • Drive engagement with key stakeholders and internal partners to define priorities and execute on the GWO dimension.
  • Ensure GWO compliance and regulate risks including building code, EHS, BCM, Compass etc.
  • Manage financial aspects and cost control for optimal efficiency.
  • Understand end-user needs and implement physical and digital workplace strategies to meet these needs.
  • Manage GWO suppliers to ensure the delivery aligns with the RE strategy and objectives.
  • Leverage Ericsson�s branding and content to create inspiring workplaces.
  • Use data and analytics in decision-making for the enhancement of Workplace Experience.
  • Interpret the Ericsson ecosystem to cater to local needs and conditions.
  • Design and execute strategies to achieve specified targets.
