As Head of Marketing, you will:

  • Marketing Strategy Development & Implementation - Lead the creation and execution of data-driven marketing strategies to optimise supporter acquisition, retention, and income growth.
  • Supporter Base Growth & Engagement - Develop and manage marketing initiatives to expand and retain PDSA’s supporter base, ensuring long-term engagement and future income potential.
  • Integrated Multi-Channel Marketing - Oversee marketing planning across digital, traditional, and commercial channels, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and brand propositions.
  • Campaign Innovation & Performance Optimisation - Drive the development of creative, high-impact marketing campaigns using insights and data analytics to maximise effectiveness and return on investment.
  • Stakeholder & Partner Management - Build and maintain relationships with external agencies, suppliers, and internal teams, ensuring strategic alignment and effective marketing delivery.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting - Regularly report on marketing KPIs, adjusting strategies to exceed targets while ensuring budget and resource efficiency.

We 're seeking someone with:

  • Senior Marketing Leadership - Proven experience in leading marketing functions, with a track record of driving supporter/customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.
  • Multi-Channel Performance Marketing Expertise - Extensive experience in managing online and offline marketing channels, including digital, direct mail, and commercial marketing.
  • Strategic Data-Driven Decision Making - Skilled in interpreting marketing analytics and using data insights to optimise marketing strategies and campaign performance.
  • Agency & Supplier Relationship Management - Experience in managing external agencies and partners, ensuring service delivery aligns with business goals and budget.
  • Campaign Development & Innovation - Ability to create high-quality, engaging, and targeted marketing campaigns that resonate with diverse audiences.
  • Financial & Performance Accountability - Strong commercial acumen in managing multi-million-pound marketing budgets (£7M) and delivering significant income growth (£15M).
