Head of Project Management Office, Change Management & Transition
Salary £80,000-£100,000 per annum depending on experience.
The DDC Group has an excellent opportunity for a Head of PMO to join our growing global team. As a vital part of the Transition team. Reporting to the VP of Transition, Change & Quality Management, this strategic leadership role drives enterprise-wide change and transitions through robust management and a centralised PMO framework.
You will lead all aspects of change and transitions during client onboarding in the BPO industry, building and managing a cross-geo team of change/transition managers and business analysts, leveraging tech-led digital solutions for seamless transitions.
This role is a permanent full-time position. This is a hybrid role where you will work from home but have the flexibility with the ability to travel as this role will require travel to sites across the UK with at times, an overnight stay (travel costs will be paid for by The DDC Group except when required to travel to our UK HQ in Worksop).
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a global strategy for client onboarding and process excellence.
- Project Portfolio Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of global projects.
- Change Management: Execute change management strategies, including stakeholder engagement and risk management.
- Team Building: Recruit, train, and manage a cross-geo team to support onboarding.
- PMO Oversight: Establish and refine PMO processes and best practices.
- Process Excellence: Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Tech-Led Solutions: Implement digital solutions to enhance client experience.
- Client Engagement: Act as the primary contact for new clients during onboarding.
- Performance Metrics: Monitor KPIs to measure success and identify improvements.
Client Onboarding Process:
- Initiation: Conduct initial client meetings to understand requirements.
- Planning: Develop detailed onboarding plans with timelines and milestones.
- Execution: Coordinate with teams to execute the onboarding plan.
- Monitoring: Track progress and address issues promptly.
- Closure: Review objectives with clients and gather feedback.
What do you need?
- Deep understanding of project management methodologies, change management principles, and PMO best practices.
- Ability to develop and execute global strategies, influence senior stakeholders, and lead cross-functional teams.
- Proven track record of leading cross-geo teams and managing complex projects.
- Strong understanding of digital solutions and their application in process improvement.
- Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with CRM and ERP systems.
- Client-centric approach with proactive problem-solving skills.
- Digital proficiency and data-driven decision making.
- Ability to motivate and inspire cross-geo teams.
- Sensitivity to diverse cultural perspectives and experience managing global teams.
- Adaptable, flexible, and resilient in the face of change.
- Promotes continuous improvement and innovation.
- Transparency and accountability in all dealings.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience/Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in change and project management, PMO leadership, and client onboarding within the BPO industry.
- Certification in Project Management (PMP) or equivalent experience.
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies.
- Willingness and ability to travel nationally and overseas as required.
