We are seeking a dedicated Learning and Development Manager to join our team in Bridge of Weir in Glasgow. Reporting to the HR Director, you will play a critical role in evolving our learning and development activities, creating opportunities for our colleagues to grow and excel. Your primary focus will be on developing the learning strategy, coordinating training initiatives, and partnering with senior leaders to fulfil training requirements. With a commitment to continuous improvement, you will ensure compliance training is delivered while managing the Performance Development Review process and the Learning Management System. Additionally, you will oversee the apprenticeship programs and internal mentoring schemes, driving the success of our people development initiatives.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar Learning and Development role
  • Proven ability to partner with stakeholders and utilise coaching methodologies
  • Proficient in course design, development and delivery
  • Demonstrable experience in enhancing management and supervisory leadership skills
  • Understanding of performance and talent management processes
  • A degree-level qualification is required; further L&D qualifications are advantageous
  • Familiarity with apprenticeship frameworks preferred
  • Accreditation in McQuaig, MBTI, etc., is a distinct advantage
