About the role

We’re looking for an Investment Associate to join our growing Dandara Living Developments team in Soho, London. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-value transactions across the Build-to-Rent (BTR) and Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) sectors. Over the past two years, the team have transacted on 2,300 units across 15 projects, and we’re looking for a commercially astute professional to help us continue this momentum.

As an Investment Associate, you’ll play a key role in preparing assets for sale, marketing opportunities to institutional investors, and executing investment transactions. You’ll also support the underwriting of new land opportunities across both BTR and PBSA, working closely with colleagues in land, planning, and legal teams.

What you will do

• Develop investor relationships across the living sector, liaising with agents, solicitors, and key stakeholders
• Prepare marketing collateral and investment appraisals for Build-to-Rent and PBSA assets
• Negotiate heads of terms, ensuring optimal commercial outcomes for Dandara
• Work with legal advisors on transaction documents such as SPA, DFA, and PLMA agreements
• Manage investment transactions, coordinating across teams and handling investor enquiries
• Support the land team by reviewing and analysing new development opportunities from a sales perspective
• Conduct pre-sale due diligence, working with planning and technical teams

What you will bring

• Degree-qualified (or equivalent) in a legal or property-related field
• Qualified Solicitor or MRICS (or equivalent)
• Experience in BTR and/or PBSA in a transactional capacity
• Strong understanding of UK residential property markets
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & financial modelling (desirable)
• Strong negotiation and relationship management skills

Strong communication skills are essential, as you’ll be engaging with internal teams, external consultants, and investors at all levels.
