I have an opportunity for someone to join our Wynne and Co team - initially to act as my (Sarah Wynne’s) PA, but also to undertake general administrative tasks within the team with the remaining time.

I’m unsure at present how many hours a week this is needed, and salary is dependent on experience so I’m open to negotiation on both.

My current PA is on maternity leave (not expected to return in 2025) and I’m lost without her, so initially this would be to cover that role. However as the firm grows it is expected it would likely be permanent, supporting another senior member of the fee earning team.

Experience in a similar role is essential.

In addition to this I am looking for some specific character traits:

  • An understanding of neurodiversity and the challenges it can present, in partcular ADHD
  • The ability to multitask and keep track of workloads and schedules for yourself and me, adapting when something urgent pops up
  • The confidence to liaise with the firms biggest clients and perhaps most challenging, on my behalf as instructed by me, in particular managing my emails
  • Enjoyment of working in a fast paced energetic environment is essential as that’s how I work everyday
  • The ability to get on with work set in my absence and follow up with me on a regular basis without my prompting
  • An understanding of the fact sometimes I need peace and sometimes I need people
  • I’m not looking for a shrinking voilet - you need to be confident enough to nag me if needs be
  • A calm, cool head

On the plus - the majority of people enjoy my ADHD energy and empathy!

This position may suit someone who is neurodivergent themselves as I find it successful to pair up with someone with opposite character traits - e.g. you love to-do lists, I hate them. You have strong organisational skills - I don’t.

I’m as interested in you as a person, not just your skills so don’t make it boring. You should ensure your values align with mine prior to applying (have a google of what I’m about…)

Interview questions can be provided in advance for anyone short listed - and reasonable adaptations for the interview process too - just ask.

I believe this is best as a remote role - with attendance at the office time to time for team meetings and social events to ensure you become part of the team.

I WILL NOT OUTSOURCE OVERSEAS so don’t waste my time or yours. WHILST THIS IS REMOTE I EXPECT YOU TO LIVE IN WALES. We are very proud to keep things within the Welsh economy.

I have no formal list of educational requirements (I didn’t do well in school myself!) but a proven track record in work experience is essential.
