Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, organised and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team in the Cromer office 3 days a week.
The ideal candidate will provide essential support to our office operations, ensuring smooth administrative processes and effective communication. This role requires proficiency in various office software, excellent phone etiquette, and strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Duties
- Answering the telephone in a timely manner and assisting with any queries, raising any concerns to the Registered Manager, Area Care Manager and Deputy Care Manager.
- Complete detailed “Care Note” audits on a weekly basis and raising any concerns to the Registered Manager, Area Care Manager and Deputy Care Manager.
- Completing Medication audits on a weekly basis and raising any concerns to the Registered Manager, Area Care Manager and Deputy Care Manager.
- Maintenance and organisation of staff and client folders.
- General filing, such as but not limited to, scanning and uploading documents to the CRM system.
- Liaising with other Healthcare professionals such as Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, GP Surgeries etc.
- Develop effective working relationships with other employees within Cavell Healthcare.
- Ensure that any complaints or safeguarding concerns are escalated to the R Registered Manager, Area Care Manager and Deputy Care Manager.
- To maintain administrative skills at a current level and undertake such training and development as may from time-to-time be required to maintain that currency of practice.
- To provide administrative services for the company in accordance with current best practice
- Promote a positive image for the people and employees of the company.
- Welcoming and directing office visitors to designated areas.
Requirements
- Strong typing skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry.
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for effective communication.
- Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role is advantageous.
- Competence in using general office equipment (printers, scanners, etc.)
Working hours
- Monday 830am-5pm
- Friday 830am-5pm
The 3rd day can be discussed to work around you!
We are looking for someone to start in May 2025.
Please note, we are do not have a sponsorship licence. Please also note you must have previous administrative experience within a care setting to apply.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.72 per hour
