Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the post office, ensuring efficient service delivery.
- Manage staff schedules and training, promoting teamwork and high performance.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
- Maintain accurate financial records, including cash handling and transaction processing.
- Ensure compliance with all postal regulations and health and safety standards.
- Promote additional services offered by the post office to enhance customer experience.
- Organise community events to strengthen local engagement and awareness of services.
Experience
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment is essential.
- Experience in managing or supervising a team is highly desirable.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer interaction.
- Familiarity with financial transactions and basic accounting principles is advantageous.
