Job Summary
The Post Office Branch Manager plays a crucial role in the efficient operation of the post office, ensuring that all services are delivered to customers in a friendly and professional manner. Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the post office, ensuring efficient service delivery.
  • Manage staff schedules and training, promoting teamwork and high performance.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Maintain accurate financial records, including cash handling and transaction processing.
  • Ensure compliance with all postal regulations and health and safety standards.
  • Promote additional services offered by the post office to enhance customer experience.
  • Organise community events to strengthen local engagement and awareness of services.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment is essential.
  • Experience in managing or supervising a team is highly desirable.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer interaction.
  • Familiarity with financial transactions and basic accounting principles is advantageous.
