We are seeking an experienced Electrical Quality Manager to oversee and ensure compliance with quality standards on a large-scale construction site in Brighton.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing quality assurance procedures, conducting inspections, and ensuring that all electrical installations meet industry regulations, client specifications, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain electrical quality assurance and control procedures on-site.
• Conduct inspections, audits, against electrical systems being installed onsite.
• Ensure compliance with BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations) and local building codes.
• Coordinate with the project team and subcontractors to ensure quality standards are met.
• Identify and manage rectification of non-conformances and implement corrective/preventive actions.
• Collate, populate and submit installation test plans (ITPs) tick sheets, and quality documents throughout the length of the project.
• Maintain detailed quality records and reports for audits and client handover.
• Collaborate with health & safety teams to ensure compliance with safety standards.

Requirements:

• Desirable - NVQ 3 in electrical installations
• Desirable - 18TH Edition Wiring regulations
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in electrical quality control, preferably on large construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical installations, regulations, and standards.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
