Your opportunity

  • Champion and spearhead the development and implementation of quality programs and initiatives, ensuring adherence to best practices and continuous improvement within the quality domain.
  • Act as a key influencer within the organization to foster a culture that prioritizes SDLC best practices and quality assurance at all stages of project development.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for QA/SDLC process enhancements, collaborating with the Head of Quality to drive strategic quality initiatives and improvements.
  • Assume full responsibility for the test management of one of the organization’s most critical and complex projects, involving extensive coordination across different business units and technological platforms.
  • In close partnership with Project Managers and the Head of Quality, gain a comprehensive understanding of project scope and delivery methodologies to tailor and oversee the execution of detailed test strategies.
  • Establish and monitor key quality metrics as integral success factors for the project, ensuring the implementation of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), appropriate test automation levels, and effective test environments.
  • Provide consultancy and guidance on test management best practices to Project Managers overseeing medium and smaller scale projects, as necessary.
  • Manage the Quality team’s activities (even if not a direct line manager initially), and provide expert guidance and support on testing methodologies, best practices, and quality improvement initiatives, with a future perspective on possibly assuming formal line management responsibilities.

Must have skills

  • Extensive experience and a deep-seated understanding of Quality Assurance best practices and the software development lifecycle, with a particular emphasis on Agile methodologies.
  • Proven ability to lead and execute quality assurance activities with excellence, demonstrating superior written, verbal, and collaborative communication skills.
  • Expertise in test management, including the ability to design flexible testing strategies for complex, technology-driven projects.
  • Experience in testing asset management solutions and/or corporate services technology is highly desirable.
