Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Security Officer to join our existing security team. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of three sites within the Peterborough area , patrolling across locations that are approximately one mile apart. Driving and own transport are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular patrols across the three sites to maintain security and safety.
• Provide first contact support and safeguard clients, including responding to emergencies.
• Carry out routine health and safety checks and report any maintenance issues.
• Monitor the CCTV system to identify and respond to security concerns.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs of incidents, observations, and maintenance issues.
• Interact with and provide support to vulnerable individuals , including those with mental health needs.
• Act with professionalism, integrity, and in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Remain alert, vigilant, and punctual throughout the shift.

Shift Details:

• Days: Saturday & Sunday
• Hours: 08:00 AM - 20:00 PM

Requirements:

• Previous security experience is preferred but not essential.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact positively with clients.
• Ability to use initiative and make sound decisions in various situations.
• A valid driver 's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
• A responsible and professional attitude towards work.
