Our GP surgery has two sites; our main site is located in the delightful market town of Stockbridge on the River Test and our branch site is in the friendly rural village of Broughton.

We have a vacancy for a Receptionist to work all day Thursday with the potential of increasing hours to work Mondays. The work may be based at either of our sites. All Receptionists also work one Saturday morning approximately every 10 weeks. This is paid as extra.

Our receptionists are the first point of call for our patients and are therefore vital members of our team.

As a Receptionist you will find yourself:

• Answering the telephone
• Booking appointments
• Welcoming patients to the practice
• Dealing with a wide variety of patient queries
• Supporting our team of doctors and nurses

This is an excellent opportunity for someone wanting to make a difference in the community and to work in a small friendly team. Applicants should be approachable and polite with good IT skills and a willingness to learn. Relevant experience in dealing with members of the public would be useful but not essential as full training will be given.

There will also be scope to learn additional skills after the basics have been mastered.

Please contact us to arrange an informal 2 hour shadowing session with our reception team in the first instance. We will not progress any applicants who have not had a shadowing session.
