Wadswick Green is set in the stunning Wiltshire countryside, just eight miles from Bath and under three miles from Corsham’s pretty town centre. Set among 25 acres of landscaped, beautiful grounds with mature trees and wildlife ponds.
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Village Services Assistant
The Village Services Assistant has responsibility to deliver a friendly and efficient customer service experience to residents and visitors, whilst creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
A key focus of the role will be to represent the Village Services Team (Concierge and Reception) ensuring residents queries, issues and bookings are dealt with quickly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:
- To undertake front of house duties, including meeting, greeting and attending to the needs of residents and members of the public - to ensure a superb customer service experience.
- To build a good rapport with all residents and resolve any complaints/issues quickly to maintain high quality customer service.
- To assist with resident booking and cancellation requests along with any ad hoc queries.
- To assist in dealing with customer complaints in an effective and courteous manner, providing or seeking solutions as quickly as possible or passing it on to a relevant manager.
- Undertake resident apartment inductions, ensuring resident is confident with all aspects of their new home.
- Welfare Checks - follow schedules to ensure relevant residents are regularly contacted - including those who are vulnerable, lone occupants, or recently ill/bereaved
- Encourage vulnerable and new residents to engage with other residents informally/attend events
- Monitor and follow up welfare concerns raised. Inform Care Team and management of any safeguarding/general concerns
- To assist in driving village vehicles and residents to various local destinations. Due to company vehicle insurance applicants will need to be at least 24 years old.
Skills and Experience:
- Must have a good standard of spoken and written English
- Computer literate, including Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Excellent Customer service skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Attention to detail
- Problem-solving
- Organised and thorough
- Proof of right to work in the UK.
- Clean driving licence
Hours:
Part time hours 24 per week to be worked on a shift pattern 3 days out of 7 including weekends, with occasional evenings. Flexibility is key.
Due to the nature of the environment the successful candidate will be required to undertake a basic DBS check - paid for by us.
