Job Overview:
We are looking for a Staff User Experience Designer to join our User Experience team. This role is ideal for a seasoned UX professional who thrives in solving complex design challenges, mentoring others in design craft, and driving high-impact design work. As a force multiplier for design, you will contribute to business success by using research, data, and design thinking to create user-centric solutions that drive measurable product outcomes. You will be a trusted collaborator across design, product, and engineering, ensuring seamless execution of design solutions while influencing the broader user experience landscape across multiple teams and products.
The Staff UX Designer position is an individual contributor (IC) role, positioned between Senior and Principal UX Designers. While it is a leadership role in design execution and craft, it is distinct from management positions.
Requirements:
- 8-10 years of relevant experience in UX design, product design, visual design, or equivalent roles, with a track record of leading design initiatives within a product vertical or practice.
- Deep expertise in UI/UX design principles, design systems, and design thinking methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills, using UX methodologies to deliver value to customers and the business.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a force multiplier for design, leading by example and mentoring other designers in UX craft.
- Lead complex design projects, taking ownership of initiatives that span multiple teams, domains, or products.
- Expand beyond assigned product areas, influencing design decisions across features, platforms, and departments.
- Drive high-impact design execution, ensuring experiences align with customer, business, and organizational goals.
- Collaborate with product and engineering leadership, contributing to prioritization, ideation, and execution.
- Own the execution of UX solutions, including wireframes, prototypes, user flows, journey maps, and final UI assets.
- Ensure on-time and in-full delivery, working closely with engineering and product management to execute seamlessly.
- Elevate the design team’s expertise, advocating for UX best practices and mentoring junior team members.
- Advocate for design excellence, ensuring quality, usability, and consistency across products.
- Partner across teams, fostering collaboration between design, product, and engineering to create cohesive and impactful user experiences.
- Contribute to a strong UX culture, promoting growth, learning, and cross-team knowledge-sharing.

- Ability to navigate ambiguity, proactively defining direction alongside product and engineering counterparts.

- Energy, enthusiasm, and curiosity, embracing a growth mindset and continuous learning.
- Experience working with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams to ensure cohesive design execution across multiple products.
- Cybersecurity experience is not required, but the ability to synthesize complex industry needs into polished and user-friendly design solutions is essential.
- Willingness to travel occasionally, both domestically and internationally, to collaborate with global team members .
