Who are you?

With 6-7 years of professional production experience, you’ll be looking for the next step in your career, ready to lead projects, organise shoots, liaise directly with clients, motivate and manage a small team/crew and creatively collaborate on brilliant ideas.

You’ll be a truly multi-skilled videographer - from pre-production through to capture and post-production, you’ll be technically sharp - being able to use a selection of cameras and highly skilled on Premiere Pro, After Effects and Photoshop.

What is the job?

We’re hiring a Senior Sports Videographer to join our skilled team at The Media Bunker.

From capturing content in a huddle after a test match at Twickenham, to spending a week aboard an aircraft carrier in a secret location or capturing studio-based content with some of the greatest athletes in the game - we’re looking for a creative, experienced operator who enjoys pushing their own limits and delivering premium content consistently.

Our clients are amongst the most respected brands in the UK and beyond - England Rugby, O2, Royal Navy, British Cycling, World Rugby, Harlequins, DHL, Thatchers Cider, Barbarians RFC, British Airways, Allianz and many more. In this role you’ll be challenged to initiate creative concepts and ideas and produce beautiful content daily!

You will need to have:

  • Extensive experience of camera operation (Sony FX cameras), lighting and editing across the full Adobe Creative suite with a strong portfolio relevant to our company needs.
  • We require 6-7 years of professional production experience in paid roles, not student experience.
  • Proven experience of creating innovative video content for digital and social platforms.
  • Thorough experience of working in a sports production environment.
  • A background in and knowledge of rugby is preferrable.
  • Ability to work efficiently to deadlines and to manage effectively multiple projects.
  • Proven leadership skills to lead a team of camera operators and editors and work collaboratively on project briefs.
  • Outstanding communication skills and the ability to liaise directly with clients as well as supervising team members.
  • Authorisation to work in the UK
  • UK driving licence and access to own vehicle

This is NOT a remote working role. You will be based mainly at our Fareham office in Hampshire (PO14 1AH) and out on location on shoots, with occasional working from home.
