£550-£600 per day depending on experience.

What you’ll bring to the table:

This is a hands on role for a Senior React Developer who is comfortable writing code but also able to oversee delivery and take on some Business Analyst responsibilities. You’ll manage updates to leadership on programme/delivery, coordinate with other squads around PRs and releases, and transcribe requirements from the central team

• Proven development experience of working as a Lead Engineer in a commercial development team with an expert understanding of React, JavaScript and wider experience in different tools and frameworks across the stack.
• Work on large-scale React applications, implementing and managing lifecycle events (e.g., page load, useEffect).
  Have some experience with Adobe Analytics
• Supporting with UAT
• Cross-squad co-ordination of “app-owning” squads to do code reviews
• Clarifying team priorities based on programme direction
• Escalating & resolving blockers and scope changes
• Use browser DevTools (primarily console) to troubleshoot, debug, and optimise application performance.
• Knowledge of AWS cloud technologies
• Commercial experience working with agile methodologies.
• The ability to take clients wider business concerns into account when making technical decisions and dealing with the challenges from stakeholders that come with this.
• Experience of implementing architecture, DevOps, performance or security and an understanding and ownership of best practice as a Lead Engineer (eg. TDD, SOLID, XP)
• Comfortable mentoring junior engineers and supporting Squad Leads, with the attributes to provide technical guidance as the most senior engineer on a project and ensuring the development team is achieving project goals and maintaining quality standards.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD practices and deployments.
• Experience of writing effective documentation and knowledge sharing.
